Phoenix 24 V AC ATEX IIC Explosion-Proof Preset Camera Head FPHC-40/L

The "Phoenix Explosion-Proof" equipment is ATEX-certified to be used in potentially hazardous areas where there is a risk of explosion because flammable gases‚ vapours‚ mists or dusts may be present. The camera head‚ which comprises both a housing and pre-set pan-tilt head‚ is designed to prevent explosion by containing any heat‚ sparks‚ or flames generated by equipment inside it. This prevents ignition of potentially explosive atmospheres or materials outside the equipment. The camera head is ATEX-certified for use in IIC gas environments (includes hydrogen and acetylene). The housing is supplied complete with heater & sun shield. The housing can have a wiper and integral 10 or 17fn AC Telemetry Receiver factory fitted.

Siemens will deliver this housing and PTZ head only as a factory prebuilt version with Siemens or customer-supplied camera and lens. Therefore one of the Phoenix-FIT options must be ordered.Please note‚ that Siemens cannot supply ATEX IIC Equipment certificates unless one of the Phoenix-CERT option is ordered with each housing.

Glands are supplied for both ends of P&T lead. Suitable ATEX approved cable glands for all other cables must be purchased separately.
