Interferences of the detector by extraneous light are rather rare. However, if such a disturbance should occur in case of a strong impact of extraneous light, the extraneous light filter is available. The filter absorbs disturbing IR rays. The filter can be inserted into the detector (not possible if short distance filter is inserted).
